The OW2 Consortium was initiated on January 1, 2007 through the merger of
ObjectWeb and Orientware, two leading open source middleware
communities of renown industry players, innovative start-ups, prominent
academic organizations and individuals from across the world.
As an organization or an individual, you must
first download and read the Bylaws and the Intellectual Property Rights from the Legal Resources page.
Then, go to the Online Registration page, complete the form and send your filled Membership Agreement to he address shown on the document. Former ObjectWeb and Orientware members should note that membership is not automatically transferred from either ObjectWeb or Orientware to OW2.
