OpenCCM - How to Contribute

How to Contribute

Basically, any feature you need but you do not find implemented in OpenCCM may become a contribution topic. Simply send your ideas, documents and developments (if any) to the OpenCCM community. So all contributions are welcome!

You may also wish to get involved in an already undertaken work (see the Workplan). The list of hot topics is available at the OpenCCM's ObjectWeb Forge site. Please use also the ObjectWeb Forge tools for featuring requests and bug reports/fixes.

If you would like to contribute to the OpenCCM open source project, you may follow the steps below:

  1. if the work item is already allocated, contact the responsible person,
  2. else if the work item is not allocated, or if you would like to add a new one, send an e-mail to the OpenCCM community indicating the domain on which you would like to work (so this is not limited to the list of activities presented above),
  3. download the last OpenCCM sources (or get it through CVS),
  4. implement your contribution,
  5. send the modified files, any specification and documentation to the OpenCCM team.

OpenCCM has his own project on the ObjectWeb Forge.

You can also subscribe to the openccm-commits mailing list if you want to receive notifications of the CVS changes.
